Thanks for clicking to get here. The collage on the front page was replaced to announce a new venture...photos in public.
The Metro Pulse has been kind enough to feature 8 weeks worth of my photos in a series called "En Route" you can see them in the printed paper every week, and on the site here.
The series of photos from Jellico, TN was shown at the Disc Exchange during the month of April, and then made their way to my office walls until I can find a suitable new location. Seen here.
Hopefully, there will be more collages coming as well. I am collaged-out at the moment, and despite what my hate-mail-sender says, there is meaning in what I do...and I hope to continue that practice as an outlet for my meandering brain.

FYI - This site started as a "collage-of-the-day"...meant as a project to occupy my evenings at home while my wife was busy sewing. Most of the collages were made with the intent of taking thrown-away magazines and recycling them into something new. There are seemingly a few folks who think I am making a living off of the work on this site. HA! Believe it or not, the nature of most hobbies is quite the contrary. The act of collage can obviously include materials made by others (just as it includes work by the collage "artist") and the morphing of those materials into something with a new meaning. I don't consider myself an artist so much as a collector. I collect things I like and put them together and share them with my friends. I hope they enjoy what I do, and I hope they appreciate the work for what it is... a hobby gone public. While I can't keep up a collage-a-day anymore, I hope to keep up what I enjoy...collecting and storytelling.
We shall see.
